Alex is an MBA focused admissions consultant, an expert on personal branding, and a lecturer on marketing strategy at UCLA. Alex’s clients have been admitted to Harvard Business School, Stanford GSB, Wharton, Chicago Booth, MIT Sloan, Columbia Business School, INSEAD, London Business School, Duke Fuqua, NYU Stern, Yale School of Management, and UCLA Anderson. Alex received his B.A. in Economics from Fordham University-NYC, his M.A. in Marketing from Pontifical University-Rio de Janeiro and his MBA from UCLA Anderson in 2008. Alex also has extensive experience as a screener and interviewer of applicants to the UCLA Anderson MBA program. In addition to lecturing and assisting clients in developing a strong personal brand, Alex has served as an international marketing consultant in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the U.S. for brands such as Red Bull, Lexmark, and Coca-Cola, among others. Alex’s international marketing perspective makes him particularly skilled at helping MBA applicants from the U.S. and abroad create compelling application strategies that differentiate them from the “sea of faces” and pile of essays.
